In 2009, he returned to his undergraduate alma mater, Xavier University in New Orleans, an HBCU and the only Black Catholic institution in the world. His dedication to the work would eventually increase student placement rate for Xavier by 50%, building a pipeline to both Ivy League institutions and regional or local graduate schools.
