It enrolls roughly 43% first-generation Latino students. Approximately 33% of ASU’s enrollment is dual credit students (3,700 students taking both high school and college courses), 43% of whom are Latinos and first-generation college students. Additionally, 39.93% of graduate students are Latino.

There is also HISPA’s Latinos in College, a leadership development program for mostly first-year, first-generation students. In 2015, it received The White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics’ Bright Spot in Hispanic Education honor. that work with them, including in-kind support.
