Dr. Nichole Kang College campuses have made great strides in making mental health services available to students, but access remains a critical issue. A primary component of this approach involves integrating mental health support with other basic studentwellness services. campus is much more than a counseling center.
Prompted by California Assembly Bill 2881, introduced by Senator Marc Berman in 2022, the legislation provided priority registration for students with dependents and mandated the development of a centralized webpage offering parenting studentsaccess to both on-campus and off-campus resources.
