Multiple academic studies have demonstrated that encouraging children to pursue a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) career gives them a distinct business advantage later in life. Unfortunately, STEMeducation is currently facing challenges that could affect the success of skilled students around the globe.
The median mid-career salary for individuals with a STEM degree is $76,000, compared to the median pay of $61,000 across all majors. This provides further evidence that investing in a STEMeducation is not just beneficial for students, but it’s a crucial factor for enhancing economic mobility within our communities.
