Morris Thomas My group contributed the suggestion that higher education should also consider the experience of and/or capacity for using digital learning tools in addition to the subject matter expertise of an individual. However, neither educational technology nor onlinelearning was mentioned in the criteria for 64% of the positions.
Revisiting the process and learning I undertook with the facilitation of Dr. Kelly Grogan while creating significant learning environments, I keep looking for ways to align outcomes. Therefore, I intend to keep these in mind as I prepare to outline my plans for an onlinelearning course’s instructional design.
Piloting professional learning in phases allows for input, modification, and improvements. Teambuilding through professional learning is just another example of how I am being intentional about facilitating a caring culture. This professional learning opportunity seeks to connect advisors with their passion and valuable purpose.
I am attempting to address all nine points in my Advising 101 Instructional Design. Enhance Collaboration – Teach students how to utilize tools and technology to connect with one another and their learning experience. Facilitating these skills will serve them for a lifetime.
